Third Time’s a Charm: A Cottage-Inspired Baby Girl Nursery

Designing a nursery is always such a special process, and this one felt extra sweet. After welcoming two boys, my client was excited to create a soft, feminine space for her baby girl—filled with thoughtful details, warmth, and charm.

The vision for this nursery started with pink paneling and evolved into a layered design featuring soft pinks, subtle purples, and light neutrals, blended with delicate touches of butterflies, florals, and bows. The goal was to create a space that felt timeless, cozy, and feminine with just a hint of cottage-inspired charm.

One of my favorite details in this room was the window treatment: the Jawara Linen Cotton Tie Top Bow Curtains in Ivory Beige from TWOPAGES. The soft texture and warm neutral tone helped ground the room while adding a beautiful finishing layer that tied everything together.

Window treatments are often one of the final decisions in a design, but in this nursery, they became one of the most impactful details—bringing softness, function, and a custom feel to the space.

I’m honored this project was featured on the TWOPAGES blog, where I share more about the design process, the inspiration behind the space, and why these draperies were the perfect fit.
